Entering the Facility
Once you arrive at 50 Taylor Boulevard, drive your vehicle to the scales across from the parking lot.
Once on the scales, wait for the green light, then proceed across the road to 51 Taylor Boulevard to unload your material. Please enter the facility using the second entrance on the left.
Drive to the stop sign. A Miller Waste employee will direct you from that point.
After your vehicle has been unloaded, it will be weighed once again to determine the weight of your material.
You will be issued a disposal ticket that displays the weight of your load along with your disposal cost.

Where to Bring Hazardous Waste

Unfortunately, we cannot accept Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) at this location (this includes anything that is corrosive, flammable, explosive, or poisonous, including:
batteries, asbestos, paint, solvents, primers, stains, thinners, ammonia-based cleaners and disinfectants, windshield wiper fluid, oil filters, motor oil, brake fluid, and more.

Free for residents of Durham Region. Daily maximum of 50 litres or 25 cans.
Please keep material in its original container or in a well-marked container and ensure it is securely sealed to prevent spills.
Need a Bin?
If you need to dispose of waste from an ongoing project, order a temporary bin container from Miller to keep at your home or work site.
Choose your size, tell us when to drop the bin of, and fill it with any of the material listed above.
When you're done, we'll remove the bin and waste together.
