Ontario – March 23, 2026 – Miller Waste Systems (“Miller Waste”) announced the sale of its Escarpment Renewables and Maryland Farms facilities, along with certain organics-related assets in Pickering, to Walker Industries (“Walker”).The transaction was signed on March 23, 2026.
This strategic decision positions these renewable energy and organics-processing assets with an organization focused on advancing renewable energy solutions, while allowing Miller Waste to sharpen its focus on integrated waste management and diversion services across its core markets.
The Miller Waste employees associated with the Escarpment and Maryland facilities will transition to Walker Industries. Employees associated with the Pickering organics assets will remain with Miller Waste.
