Just wanted to take a moment to draft a letter to express out gratitude in all the support Miller has provided over the past year with GFS. You had approached us with a new opportunity to divert all our packaged waste and process it through your depacking equipment and utilizing the organics in the onfarm anerobic digesters.
The benefits have been multifaceted:
– We have been able to reduce our workforce by one person whose purpose was to de-package all the material which could not be delivered to customers. This was time consuming, and a very challenging position to staff.
– We appreciate that you are operating a licensed facility and can provide records of destruction for all product which is destined to your facility.
– While GFS is a large logistical company that can direct haul to your facility, we are impress by the quick turnaround, typically less than 24 hours from time of call to arrange for transportation if required.
– The benefits to reducing our carbon footprint is an additional benefit that cannot be understated. Through Miller’s depackaging service, we are confident that the maximum amount of material is being diverted from landfill.
