In the position of Parts Supervisor your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, maintaining the parts room, assisting repair personnel with parts supply and maintaining an adequate inventory of parts, fluids, filters, hardware and shop consumables. Price shopping/cost control and inventory management are key responsibilities with this role, which includes, but is not limited to, minimizing part obsolescence and monitoring and justifying inventory shrinkage.  You will be responsible for receiving parts into inventory and ensuring that physical inventory quantities and total dollar value remain consistent with corporate fleet software.   In addition, you will be responsible for clean and dirty cores, warranty part recovery and related credits.  Your ability to properly use and maintain fleet software repair orders to ensure complete vehicle records are available at all times is key to this role. You may be required to answer telephone inquiries, courier requirements and maintain written records.


Successful candidates will have strong computer knowledge as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Previous inventory management and parts room experience is a must for this position. Your ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment is key as well as working in a team environment.  You must be available to work late when trucks are behind schedule, as well you may be required to work weekends and holidays.
