In the position of Truck Technician your responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the service and repair of all Company vehicles. You will be required to repair waste vehicles and trucks, including hydraulics and electrical as well as shop maintenance. You will be required to conduct vehicle maintenance according to established MWS policies and procedures. Maintain all required records and files for vehicle maintenance. May be required to conduct on-road service calls.
Successful candidates must possess, and keep valid their applicable licenses including a valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician’s License. You must have at least 6 months’ seniority to qualify for this posting. You will have the ability to diagnose and rectify faults, as well as Experience in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems. Your ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment is key as well as working in a team environment. You must be available to work late when trucks are behind schedule, as well you may be required to work weekends and holidays.
